Greener than green
It has been raining here in Western PA. (It is still overcast and almost misty with moisture and with the falling maple buds all around. The ground is green with them.)
This means the outdoors begin to resemble a jungle in their green-ness.
The grass grows quickly in the spring and the trees turn almost as multicolored as they do in Fall.
The kids are thrilled with all the green and now that it has warmed up again are spending their time outside.
They are also excited at what is coming up in the garden.
And keep trying to pick my flowers (they picked most of my daffodils and are eagerly awaiting the gladiolis and periwinkle that you can barely see in this particular view. Instead I am encouraging the me to pick the violets and dandelions and chickweed which replace our grass at this stage of spring.
Beautiful shots of your spring garden.
I just noticed this year that there are many more colors than green on trees in spring. I was really surprised at this.
Love your garden box. I’ve wanted to make one for quite some time, but never seem to get around to it in time. I usually wait too long. One day…
It is feeling very spring here too, while just a week ago the weather mean were talking snow. I love it!
there is something peaceful in this series…
